Este momento histórico fue una oportunidad única para compartir lo más destacado de la República Dominicana.
República Dominicana es reconocida por su rica música, exquisita gastronomía, playas paradisíacas y, sobre todo, por la calidez y hospitalidad de su gente. Durante esta semana, se celebró con orgullo la dominicanidad y el fuerte sentimiento de pertenencia a esta hermosa tierra.
Agradecimiento especial a La Ministra de Relaciones Exteriores de Jamaica, a la Honorable Senadora Kamina Johnson Smith, por su constante respaldo y por unirse a esta trascendental celebración. Reconocimiento también para las distinguidas autoridades y empresarios jamaicanos que se congregaron para ser parte de este evento, así como a las autoridades dominicanas, representadas por el Embajador Hugo Rivera, Viceministro de Asuntos Económicos de la cancillería dominicana, a los empresarios y los invitados especiales que se sumaron para conmemorar la fecha más importante para la República Dominicana.

The Embassy of the Dominican Republic in Jamaica enthusiastically commemorated the 179th anniversary of National Independence, marking the inaugural Dominican Week in Jamaica, a significant milestone in bilateral relations and the first of its kind in the Caribbean. This historic moment was a unique opportunity to share the highlights of the Dominican Republic.
The Dominican Republic is renowned for its rich music, exquisite cuisine, paradisiacal beaches and, above all, for the warmth and hospitality of its people. During this week, the Dominican Republic was proudly celebrated with a strong sense of belonging to this beautiful land.
Special thanks to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Jamaica, the Honorable Senator Kamina Johnson Smith, for her constant support and for joining in this momentous celebration. Recognition also to the distinguished Jamaican authorities and businessmen who gathered to be part of this event, as well as to the Dominican authorities, represented by Ambassador Hugo Rivera, Vice Minister of Economic Affairs of the Dominican Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to the businessmen and special guests who joined to commemorate the most important date for the Dominican Republic.
