En un acontecimiento de gran relevancia, la delegación dominicana tuvo el honor de inaugurar la agenda oficial de la Primera Semana Dominicana en Jamaica y del Primer Foro Empresarial República Dominicana-Jamaica. El distinguido grupo fue recibido en el Palacio de Gobierno por el Más Honorable Andrew Holness, Primer Ministro de Jamaica, el más alto mandatario de la nación.
La histórica reunión contó con la participación de destacadas autoridades gubernamentales de la República Dominicana, entre ellas el Embajador Hugo Rivera, Viceministro de Asuntos Económicos del MIREX, y Biviana Riveiro, Directora Ejecutiva de Prodominicana. Asimismo, se sumaron a ese encuentro autoridades gubernamentales de Jamaica: Ministro de Industria , Comercio e Inversión Aubyn Hill y el Ministro de Turismo Edmund Bartlett, junto con destacados empresarios dominicanos. Durante la reunión, se llevó a cabo un fructífero diálogo en el que los empresarios de alto perfil intercambiaron ideas con el Primer Ministro Holness sobre estrategias para fortalecer y profundizar aún más las relaciones comerciales e inversionistas entre ambas naciones.

In an event of great relevance, the Dominican delegation had the honor of inaugurating the official agenda of the First Dominican Week in Jamaica and the First Dominican Republic-Jamaica Business Forum. The distinguished group was received at the Government Palace by the Most Honorable Andrew Holness, Prime Minister of Jamaica, the nation's highest official.
